Meet

Dr. Philip J. Chandler
MD, FAAOS

Dr. Chandler graduated medical school from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency through the combined William Beaumont Army Medical Center/Texas Tech University Orthopaedic Surgery Residency program. Dr. Chandler practiced orthopaedics for nine years before returning to a fellowship in spine surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Conditions and Treatments

Dr. Chandler specializes in all aspects of surgical and nonsurgical spinal care including the treatment of disk herniations, spinal stenosis, instability, fractures, tumors, and scoliosis. Many patients do not require surgery for their spine condition and for those patients, a personalized treatment plan will be made regarding medications, physical therapy, bracing, injections, or alternative treatments.
